I like the color in this, but I'm not sure if that's all I like. Any thoughts, c/c?

I agree that the color is great, but the bg color is so similar that the subject has a hard time standing out. Would have been a very striking image with a contrasting bg.

I also agree heh. Also is this the original, or have you cropped it? I really like the fragility of the flowers and the pale (almost) transparency of the sunlight hitting the petals. Very delicate. Maybe try darkening the bg a bit to make them a bit more distinguished, or a different angle may have worked.

Yes, it really blends into the background. In a situation like this, trying using a weak fill flash to try to make the foreground pop from the background. Also seems a tad soft. Pretty colors though.

very japanese. I like the left half a lot more than the right half. very nice soft tones and hues here also.

while it may not have much contrast vs the background i like it as is, awesome subtle tones the right side as said, can be cropped

you missed the very top of the flower petal
