Very good considering you had to shoot what was thick, as well as dirty, glass. The composition is good and probably due to the lighting, the image has a yellow tint. Work on the color a bit, and you've got a keeper.

I agree with the last poster. If you reduce or remove the colour cast then you will have a much nicer shot. I might tighten the crop a bit to remove the space on the right side. That would place the head a bit more to the right and more into the "third" of the shot.

The color cast could be caused by the WB.

Neat subject. The colors are very subdued on my monitor. I would try to lighten it up - at least selectively - so to better illuminate his eyes. I think I would do a crop so that the right side is mostly gone, even clipping off a little of the snake if need be.

It does affect sharpness.
