The BG looks a little textured for some reason, perhaps you could isolate the BG and apply a gaussian blur. The image also looks a little over saturated and sharpened, but having said that its still a very nice shot.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
I think the reason the background looks like it has some texture is because the shot is a little over-sharpened ..I think. If you are sharpening from RAW, I know Lightroom, Adobe RAW, as well as ACDsee pro and RAW Therapee have a sharpening Mask. This limits the sharpening to edges only. Try using that, if you can. It will sharpen iguana's head, but not the background. Layering may work as well.
As far as bokeh goes, looks good.
bright and contrasty for me as well, and the hue seems quite off.
Also I was at first confused why you called it "Toad," when it is clearly not a toad. So I looked up "horny toad" and apparently its a colloquial term to reference the "horned lizard," and gets its "toad" name because of the shape of its body resembling a toads. Any way, I would definitely change the name.

Thank you all for the great comments. Anbesol, the title also refers to a phrase that Yosemite Sam would say. Does that matter? Probably not, but it is the way I think.
The shot is pretty good Arne, but it immediately appeared over sharpened to me. You can see those little shiny spots that reveal that (and the small artifacts on the edges). Anyway, it's a good shot, and a tough one to get in such a proud head position. I do wish I could see the other eye, but that's probably impossible unless shooting head on. Looking at the second post, it is simpler, but I like it better.
