Grand Canyon and a couple others...

I hope to repeat this photo this year with the new Rebel. I can't even imagine how increadible the pics would be... This again was taken with my old Olympus C-2500.. Very faithful old camera, but man was it lacking in the MP department..

Sunset over Tucson... Whitebalance set slightly towards the blue end..

The Navajo reservation is a very bleak and depressing place, full of boiling landscape, bleached white cliffs and rocks... (desaturated)

What happens when you point your camera directly at the setting sun before it goes below the horizon... Man am I suprised this didn't permanently kill my camera or something...

Nice shots. I agree about the redness of the shot. It seems overexposed, especially near the horizon/sky line. Nice sunset shot.

    Good shooting,

    Jared

Thats how red the Canyon was naturally in that area.. Everything was bright red/rust/brown.. And yeah, it was overexposed.. It was taken with an ancient Olympus, whos strong point wasn't landscape.. Bought that camera mainly for its awesome macro capacity.. still have yet to find any that can do 0.6" macro with original lens.
