    Grab Shots

A few more from the model shoot. I don't think they're as good as the others but who knows? C&Cs appreciated. I am still reviewing them, may have one or two more that makes the board before the summer ends...

I like the composition of the last image. The horizon and board placement are spot on. After the smiling hat shot this is the image where your model looks the most "unposed".

On the minus side I think the lighting and saturation are poor and there could be too much DOF.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I agree with MB, but I love the hat shot best, I like the layout of her and the windows, I think I like her with boots on (she stands the same in and out of them if you look at the last 2 photo) lol that tiptoe thing again
I'm glad there are more, I am learning a lot from these with it all being the same model.

    Re: Grab Shots

    Thks for the comments.

So MB, you're saying that you don't like the posed look? It's a fine line - too casual and they can look sloppy and/or amateur. The problem I see with the bottom one is that her face and hair fade into the board, somewhat losing the eye contact. There's also an issue of it possibly being too 'geometric', but others may find that appealing.

Lori, seems like almost every shot of her w/ the board she is tip toeing. The hat shot is a separate story cause the flash didn't fire and was therefore way underexposed (I didn't wait for it to fully recycle ). PP work produced a visible photo, but it looks a bit grainy and constrasty.. it reminds me of an early 1970s album cover or something like that!
