    Gold Finch

    Tested out my new camera, Canon T1i, and saw this one my way back to the car.

    Might want to try a crop. The yellow flowers are competing with the yellow bird. But still a pretty good catch.

    This would be lovely if you removed the outer left and right 1/3 or so. The darker centers of the flowers would draw the eye up to the bird but the bright yellow on the left and right of the bird is distracting. Otherwise, a gorgeous pic!

    If it's meant to be a bird portrait, the bird is too far from you. And if it was a bird portrait, usually it' would be a stronger image with the bird's head angled towards the camera. As is, I would darken the tree background and rotate the image clockwise as it is tilted as is.

    if you cropped this it would of made the bird more of a focus point but otherwise nice catch of a bird not flying away at the last moment.
