    Goddess Asha

    She looked so pretty sitting here, I could not resist this...........I have been trying to work on blurring out the background more in my pictures............What do you think of this?

    Aw, Chow...she does look really pretty there. I like this a lot, and I think you did well with blurring the bg...although this is a smaller pic, so I don't know how it looks at a larger size. I like that she's black & white against a more colorful bg too...

    Nice shot, but like you said, the background needs a little work. If you could take care of that, she would look nice and noble.

    This is actually quite nice because of the noble look of the cat and the b&w against the soft colored bg. I do not think the bg needs any blurring, just reduce the brightness of it.

    i would try a tad bit shallower DoF... so maybe getting closer to your subject and using a larger apature setting (like 3.2 to 4.5 [or larger... like 2 something... if you can])
