    Hey Yuck,
    Looks like a nice day to be out!

    Did you add the star highlights in post processing? If so, how does it look w/o them. They tend to blow out the image -- especially around your subject.

    Additionally, to me your subject is some what lost in the wave. The 2nd crop helps bring the surfer out. But, I'm thinking s/he still needs more presence. Maybe a slight curves adjustment.

    Second crop is good.....I also agree with OldSchool about the surfer.
