    Glare in the drop.

    Hey,
I'm new to photography, dSLR photography to be exact. I've been shooting mountain bike photos for the last 2 weeks and took this one yesterday. I was curious what people think of this shot?

P.S. After this shot I went and got my shade thingy. :-D

I really don't know what to make of this one, but I'd like to see a little more exposure on the rider. Also that lens flare needs to go (if that's what it is). A shade thingy is a good idea.

If the biker is the action you want to capture you need to get closer via telephoto or placement. You have the right idea keep shooting.

Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

Curiously, the circle of flare is placed perfectly to balance the image (for me). But one sees it and says, what's wrong with the camera? Try brightening it an make it look like the sun shining through the trees or something.
