    Re: Girlfriend in waterfalls

    First off..
    Welcome to PR.com!

I think the first one is far better than the second because, of the motion of the water. It's visually more interesting and creates a better mood than the second.

I look forward to seeing more from you, and make sure you check out all of the other forums, because there is a wealth of information to found here!
And make sure you make every effort to give back a little, becuase you'll certainly get a lot from the others in this community.
    Regards,
    Brian

I do like the first one but I think seeing her face would make it more interesting. I like the concept.

I like the first one but agree that seeing her face would probably make it better.

When I look at the second one all I can think of is water up the nose

    Re: Girlfriend in waterfalls

First of all how can you not like a post titled "Girlfriend in Waterfalls"?!

All I can think of on seeing those photos is, "That doesn't look comfortable."

I think you need to get her smiling face in there to show that she is having fun or at least that she enjoys what you are having her do.

    Re: Girlfriend in waterfalls

Thanks for the warm welcome and for the critiques everyone!!!

I have several shots of her in the waterfall but whenever we see her face it's like she's having shampoo in her eyes.. it doesn't look fun at all I understand her, it was captured on the moment and not planned.

I laughed when I read the thingy about the water up the nose on the 2nd shot !!

If you want to know more about me, I took a beginner course in B&W photography a year ago and since then, I'm hooked. I bought a Nikon D70s and watching pictures of you guys can't amaze me more...

    I'll stick around!

    Re: Girlfriend in waterfalls

The first picture has an impressionistic painting look, the movement really captures the viewer. I agree the face would have helped, but if it was that uncomfortable maybe not.
