I don't think that you need to do anything. I love how the stark background contrasts with the womans face.. I think being able to see the fabric of the jacket she is wearing gives it charactor.

I like the shot and framing. I especially like the way the hair goes into the space on the left side. I generally like the stark black and white nature as well although I'd like to see a little more detail on the left side of her face. There also seems to be a clump of hair on her right side that's considerably brighter than the rest. Was this by design?

thanks for your thoughts. I also wish that the bright and unsharp clump of hair wasn't there. I asked her to shake her head and I managed to take a few shots before she felt dizzy and fed up with my experiments This one here is the one I liked most, although it has the unsharp hair clump bit.

Superb shot. I love your lighting here and the breeze blowing her hair really adds to the shot.
I'm not too keen on the fact that it looks like a floating head. I would suggest leaving some selective detail in the clothing like has already been suggested.
