    No offense, Its a good picture, But I dont like it. Its kinda... whats the word... Boring. But thats just me.

    You did a good job of exposing and not blow out the sky and still get detail in the windmill. I think that it's leaning slightly to the right. I agree with the scary feel of it.

    Gary/GB: Thanks for the comments. I appreciate you taking the time to drop a few words. If I have learned anything from being on this website, every shot does not need to be a work of art. But, it did create an emotion: scary. That is good too.

    Tel: no offense taken. I submit photos for comment or criticism, if it is boring to you, then it is boring. It has some appeal to me, it was something different for me so I thought I would share it.

    I appreciate your comments. They all count.

    I love windmills! And the dull grey lends to the "ghostly", decaying, unkempt (sad) state of it. I've tried to buy a windmill, but they are hard to come by, and the cost of building a new one is out $ight. But I do have a (working) antique windmill hand-pump, that I (and some friends) installed for use when we lose power. Maybe I'll post some more pictures of that...
