    Ghost Waves

Here's a print from a negative I'm trying to save. Misjudged the reciprocity failure of Plus-x and took A LOT of dodging to get it where's it's at as evidenced by the "halo". What do you guys think, is the scene worth spending more time on to get rid of the halo and fine tune it?

That's amazing Aaron. Two thumbs up:thumbsup:  Could you post a larger version 800 wide? The "halo" is the best part.

Looks like you did a good job of 'saving' the photograph.

The Selenium toners (from the gallery description) I think are the ticket for the type of photograph.

That's some pretty serious paper too.

Thanks drg This was the only shot out of the roll that had enough detail left in the rocks. The others were too far gone unfortunately I'm really liking the combination of selenium toning with this paper and developer. Makes for some great tones.

Aaron - I really like the way this turned out. I don't really like the halos too much, but the rest definitely has promise.

Thanks PC I'm thinking next try on this, I will have to go and burn back in the edge of the rocks a bit. I tried dodging with less motion but, it was a 35 second over all exposure with 23 seconds of dodging on the rocks and it was always obvious in one form or another
