Maybe a lower angle shot to help pick up some more contrast with the white hairs around His nose? was a flash used? the white just seems over exposed the focus point does seem to be at his forehead and I really like the detail on the whiskers above his eyes
I really like the composition, although I might center the cat's face more. I like the dark fur at the top and the light fur at the bottom, though. Those contrasting light values make this work very well on an unconscious, abstract level as well as a literal image, I think. There's one thing that ruins this photo for me, though - the focus. It looks like you focused back near the cat's neck and you should be focused on his/her eyes. The soft face is a big problem for me.
