I'm thinking the dark corners will bother some but your composition works for me.

Sorry J, but there's definitely something missing in this photograph. A subject I guess. Seems like whatever was supposed to be there should be in the lower area. Alas, looks like the alligator or pretty reflective fish or whatever scooted away before you clicked the shutter (darn shutter lag).
