    Gas mask fashion

Just a fun outtake from another shoot this weekend. Processed to give a very retro feel...

Maybe a touch of sepia. Are halos around the mask deliberate ?
Did you try one with her eyes open ?

Jet I like it. I have looked at it a couple of times and can't see anything to change. Great work.

A touch MORE of sepia? It starts to go yellow very fast pushing it much past this point, but I could try it.
Could probably clean up that big halo at the far side of mask in middle....
Yep, have it with eye open too, but personally preferred this one because of the intricate false lashes.

    Greg, thanks.

This is great, Jim! Love the treatment and the close crop with eye visible is perfect.
I have an old Israeli civilian gas mask here that I've been waiting to shoot with.
Excellent, and the treatment is perfect for it.

    Excellent, love it.

I'd like it a tad less contrasty and a tad less sharp. The eye closed works well too. Excellent as is though.

What I like about this is that there is so much open to interpretation as to the possible story behind it and what could be happening.
As to the sepia thing I first viewed it on my ipad and it looked a lot grayer, agreed more sepia wouldn't help.

This is crazy good. I love the hint (maybe more than a hint) of the femininity contrasted with rugged gas mask, ergo, I see why you selected the eyelashes. I think you succeeded in the retro effect, though one might argue that it is a future affect .

Excellent and unusual and a well deserved sticky to boot. I would like your shot to be mine.
I would have preferred not to have seen the original for some odd reason.
