    Gardone Riviera. Input please

First, what do you think of the composition and second, I've desaturated the image a bit since the flowers are so colorful, was that right? I thought that to much color was distractive.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum.

I like the composition. The lady makes the shot IMO. I bet she just got finished at her hairdressers. I can't be sure of any desat suggestions since I haven't seen the original.

I will probably be in the minority of preferring the original, but they are both beautiful.

I think the desaturating is the right move for this one.
I like the composition just fine with one very small negative, that being the lamp on left missing its attachment to the wall.

Welcome to the forums and hoping to see more.

I like the original a bit better because of the richer color of the building.

I think you need to selectively saturate the the building in the original, in fact I would boost the contrast across the whole photo but by just a tad, as it stands I prefer the original.

One problem is the missing anchor of the light to the wall. I am hoping you cropped this out and can restore the anchor wwith a bit of room.

    Thanks for all comments.

I've cropped the image but the anchor of the light is attached to a rain gutter that looks terrible. It would be very distracting. Anyway, I totally agree with you.

I will try a selective saturation.

I like the original too. I love colour and bright colour at that!

Very nice, love the original. this is all about the colors as well as the scene itself, and muting the color here does not work as well as the original, for me.
Very nice, I only wish the woman walking were a little closer and more prominent in the image.
    Beautiful photo.
