the top one is cool, but what's up with the sky? something crazy going on there.
the bottom one has good composition, but it's underexposed.

Hi Don,

I agree good images but it looks like you put a fake sky into the top image. Fake skies can be done effectivly but it needs to be subtler. The bottom image is dark and could use a little lightening.

About the sky, it loses a lot in the transfer from full size to 640 X 420. It is a natural sky darkened somewhat to bring out the clouds.
