    Cool Gardens

I got this shot at a garden i visted. I like how this turned out. I did some things in photoshop to make it pop. Which do you like better? Do you like my style with the shot what would you change?

I love the shot, it's great and somewhat abstract-y. I love the green one the most.

I like the green better. The dead foliage distracts me though.

I like the color and effect of the green. If the photo did not have the dead leaf the blue would be a great abstract shot. As it is the dead leaf adds a bit of reality to the green shot and it works as more than a mere plant photo. Though I would have like to see it without the dead foilage. You say you have more?

    Re: Gardens

    I like..... (drums rolling..........)

    Both!

The blue is colder, sort of a roll of convention that palm trees should grow in warm climates, not cool places like this seems to suggest.

The green is more natural. I personally find it more pleasing, for it seems more relaxing. Both are good though.

As for the dead leaf, hard to say what the photo would look like w/o it. The leaf tends to add a nice distraction to the lines. But I think that the distraction could have been something other than this - what, I don't know. Maybe a suntan lotion bottle or pair of sunglasses...........

    Re: Gardens

Green for me, and perhaps smaller fonts. However, the font sizes should be good if the photo was advertising the gardens (a poster, for example). The green colour is gorgeous, and very pleasant to look at.

    Re: Gardens

Yes i agree about the fonts, i was going for more advertising art - as i do alot. My name is really too big and i think more space between mead and gardens. Looks like green has won the poll so far.
