    I really like the cat shot, the first one though seems over sharpened a bit for my taste, but other than that it is nice.
    Newbie to DSLRs, loving my Canon T1i-a recent upgrade from my first camera love-PowerShot A640

    I like the beetle one more than the cat shot. the color looks great and I dig the grain. I think it goes well together. it some areas it looks a bit much like under the beetles and a bit on the rim of the flowers to the left.

    The beetle shots a bit over saturated imo, but the cat shot is a real cracker.

    The cat photo is very nice Don. Great composition and the black and white works very nicely there. the beetle photo is a bit too processed and saturated, but a very "lovely moment"
