Gallery_Photo Views

If you look at your gallery, you often find that one photo or perhaps more than one have listed a lot more views than any of the others.

For you, does it seem to be purely random, or have you noticed a pattern? Is it what you consider your best photo that has got the most views, or perhaps one out of left field so-to-speak that you were perhaps even hesitant about uploading? Does it relate to the date, when you uploaded it?

Then of course, what is your view of the gallery and which of your photos do you decide should be there, and why?

Just curious, because I have a mixed attitude to the gallery and am not sure about the perceived advantages and disadvantages and how it could be useful to photographers.

Interesting observation.
I tried to separate the number of views by how long they've been up but that gets mixed results.
I've never just put one in gallery but they get there when I load them elsewhere.
The only thing I would hazard a guess on in your gallery is that 'red trail' doesn't have many views because most have seen it under critique.
I haven't personally looked at the galleries much but am glad they are there for inspiration when my mind goes blank.
