    Furry one

Well learning to work with the new 50mm 1.8D lens. It is slightly different than my kit lens. :mad2: I will learn to love it once I read the instructions.

Nice accurate white on the cat. I like the overall color tone of the shot too.

Nice... I like the composure... You're on a slight downward angle at her, but I think it works well here. If I were to nitpick I guess I'd say I'm not sure if I like the rug in the shot.

Beautiful cat? Is she a rex? Her hair looks curly.

I like the rug in the shot, because I like the color composition. Plus the expression on the cat's face says "yeah I know I'm over here too far off to one side. You gonna make something of it?"
Can't think of any suggestions for improvement, very nice.

Good! The green of the rug compliments kitty's eyes. I don't think I've ever seen curly fur on a cat - pretty.

    Re: Furry one

Thanks everyone. I cropped the heck out of this picture. I had half a doorway on the right and part of the door from the room I was in to the left. lol This was take 4. She wouldn't look at me.

Cara, yep, she is a Rex. Her father had very soft, sparse, curly black hair and her mother had very coarse slightly wavy hair so she ended up with a combination. Not really wavy, not really curly.

Nice (grumpy) cat It would be interesting to see a similar shot from a lower point of view / angle
