    Fun in the shadows...

    We had a great hike yesterday and the weather was perfect.

    This is an interesting composition. I like the texture of the gravel road wit the dark shadows. Sometimes it helps to just look around and see things like this. It would be easy to miss a shot like this.

    Thanks. I wanted to shoot this better but we were tired and headed back to the car after 5 miles of hiking. The last hundred feet of the trail was blown apart. We had to climb up and over fallen trees and were abut 8 feet in the air. Wife fell through once. molly the dog did well for a bit but she kept losing traction so I carried here out.... 38 lbs of dog and camera pack on a torn miniscus. Resting today...

    Neat shot. I think the guy and dog shadow is excellent! I wish there was more of it in the shot. Your shadow is OK but can't compare to that dog! (sorry! ).
