    Fun with a mirror...

Nothin' too groundbreaking, just futzing around with my camera on the balcony...

    Re: Fun with a mirror...

good shot, I like the shape of this mirror and the horizon tilt. Beautiful section of town as well.

The sign on the lower right is brilliant as well, adds a lot to the image...usually the tilted horizon would be negative, same with the blown out sky and slightly underexposed town, but the mirror brings it all together to be an awesome shot. despite the "misteaks"

    Re: Fun with a mirror...

im liking this. you have filled the void of the dull sky with something unusual. I think that if the mirror was positioned a little more to the right, this would be a little more powerful compositionally, but i still like it the way it is. what city is this?
I don't want it, I just need it...to breath ...to feel ...to know I'm alive.

    Re: Fun with a mirror...

Thanks guys, I'm going through all my semi recent posts and a bunch of unread comments are coming up. Thank you both for your critiques, the city in question is Chicago, the building reflected in the mirror is the Rectory attached to Old St. Pat's Church (local Chicago landmark.)

Oh, what an interesting shot! Too bad the hand is so blurry. Good idea, calls for a reshoot.
