Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Gorgeous pic, OT. It does have that "angel in a casket" look to it. Love the detail. Did you do it as macro?

Be honest with you I don't remember a lot about it. I think it was with the 105 macro. When I saw the pod shots I said to myself I got something somewhere and dug this out of the throw away bin. Cropped it a little tighter than the original and threw it up.

Seems to have some noise there, OT, and I detect a little blowout of the highlights near the left side of the pod. Or is it just me?;)

Your right it aint perfect. That is why I had to dig it out of the throw away bin. But I did think it fit the theme that had gotten started. Even with the flaws I kind of liked the way the crusty pod contrasted with the fluffy softness of the inside.

I really like the composition - did you get a good version?

Now I see. It's more of a self portrait, huh? See, we knew there was a soft side to that old grouch exterior. ;)

Man you crack me up. That was great. We're going to have to make a time to get together soon.
Hey, I'm ready anytime. I would love to work on getting up there and going around to shoot different places. Now that I have the Ilford b/w film, I would love to re-do the covered bridges up there with it.

I shoot this well over a year ago. I did get 4 or 5 frames on the subject but nothng that really turned my crank. I had shot something similar on film many years ago (mid 70's) and had hoped to duplicate it, but they just didn't make it.

I have no idea what is going on with my posts now. This is the second time my post has moved in front of one I was responding to.
