    A frosty afternoon deligt

    this was taken with my D50 long lens, zoomed up close,exposure comp at -1.0 and polarizer filter on, making the background a nice shade of blue,.

    nice colors but I don't see a strong focal point. If the frosty needles in the top of the image were more in focus, it'd work better, imo.

    Also, 1.0 ev might be a bit much. Or maybe boost the highlights in post a bit.

    Shallow DOF close up shots like this are tricky.
