Nice subject. A tighter crop around the frogs would help emphasize them. The light effect seems to distracting. Was it there or was added later (with Photoshop?)

A severe crop would help this one I think.

    Re: Frogs on plant

I can see how a tight crop would make the frogs more important to the image however I like this as is.

Having the leaf and frogs such a small part of the image gives a sense of size and makes it look as if they are hiding from the light.

    I like this one.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Frogs on plant

When i took the pic they were trying to hide, so i put the light in to make it look
like they were hiding from it. It was late in the afternoon, which make background
    come out dark.

    thanks nick

    Welcome to Photography Review!

These little froggys are awesome, but the added light effect doesn't do anything for me besides distract me from the frogs.

I don't know if you have the ability to find something like this again, but if you do, maybe try getting closer!

    Re: Frogs on plant

This has a nice effect. The only thing you need to do with the effect is erase the rays of light from in front of the plant. The light is behind the palnt so the plant would be blocking them out.
I agree that I like the size of these as they are but I'm bothered by the plant going straight up the middle of the image. I would crop this from the right side a bit to bring the plant and frogs over to the right frame.
    It's got potential.
