    Frog eye.

I wanted to fill the frame with the frog, keep the feet in and most of the background out.

LOL, I know that. More eye=more crummy background+a frame not quite as filled with frog.

Does it bother you or did you just comment on it?
    No, I DON'T need that.

Bothers me, makes this a near miss.
I want to see the whole eye, otherwise why is it so emphasised in the photo?

yea it bothers me to, unless you crop it more to make it look on purpose, maybe down to 1/2 eye and part of the nose.

Frog should use this for his avatar!

I like it in general; the DOF is beat, good subject. the background's very distracting though - perhaps a PP project in the waiting.

    Re: Frog eye.

So it was once a picture of a frog that got turned into a statue of a frog, and is now a picture of a frog again...the circle of life.

Nice capture...but the crop bothers me too. What appeture and focal length did you use?

Despite the eye crop its a great shot, really gets you into the picture. Nice MB1. S

Did you try it wide open too? Might make the background a little less distracting.

Well welcome to the dark side. I thought you were a Nikon man...I could have that wrong.

    Re: Frog eye.

I think this is such a cute shot but agree that we need to see the whole "eye" and the background needs to be more out of focus. If you can shoot this again, try to make this a "depth of field" experiment. :wink5:
