Need advice, b/w 1st time post

Hey everyone, I've followed the site for awhile and have really enjoyed everyones posts/techniques. I was on the FL beaches a few weeks ago and took a pic that I really like, as you can tell, its what the hurricanes left. I just can't decide what I want to do with this pic, any suggestions? Here is the original...

Don't crop it. The cropped picture bother's me. There isn't enough information, and it leaves me unsatisfied.I wish there was more of the beach in the original picture, but that would compromise the top of the walkway. I would also tinker with the contrast. Other than that it's a great picture, I like it. Good way to start off your stay here!

    Nice shot,

if you were to crop it i would go from the right side across to just beyond the end of the pier, keeping the full height, but tightening it up, creates a more dynamic feel of height to the pier itself,

just a thought, like the pic though...................
