Wow Liz, your just pulling out all the interesting subjects. This one is just interesting. Definately abstract; almost artistic IMO. It's a very random picture, but I think it's neat to see a shot like this...a breath of fresh air.

    Good job,

    Jared

    Re: Framed 2

    Thanks again Jared,

Actually I'm not an "abstract art or photography" person, but I liked the way this evolved - just a crop of a larger image which frankly was quite ugly.

Different for me, but I needed something to occupy my tired winter mind - and fill my need to do some shooting until Spring remembers it started yesterday.

Don't mean to be vague, but I really like it. Just can't put my finger on it yet.

Liz, this is really interesting with the lines and angles. The green 'thing' really sets it off.

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate you're taking the time to look. I'm not an "abstract" person, and this is the first I've done of something like this that I kept.

    Thanks John

I appreciate your comments. It was one of those "surprises" that come out of the camera. Like I mentioned above, it is a crop from an image that I almost deleted because I wasn't happy with it. But I decided to give it a crop - and was pleased with the results.

This stayed in my head at work last night. I love the shapes and the one tiny little dot of green to add a little color is great. I LOVE abstract and this is the best I've seen in a while.

    Re: Framed 2

I want to say thank you Payn817. Your comments and those of others about this image and the frame images have been a great source of encouragement to me. I've had little time for photography lately, and have been discouraged with some of the results. Perusing through what I've shot lately, I found this (from a few weeks ago), cropped the original - and decided it might be worthy of posting here.

I'm glad Spring is coming (when the weather realizes it IS time to get warmer), and I've decided to schedule in more time for photography.

Thanks again - and I'm glad you like the photo.
