great colors, pano format really makes this outstanding

great touch provided by the moon

on the biggest version in flickr I can see some darkish smudges on the sky, probably clouds ? more visible on the blue line to the right of the frame

I think I would have titled this around the moon vs the sticks

Thanks Armando. I see what you are talking about in the original. I fixed it with the clone stamp and healing brush. That could be where it was stiched?

It looks good to me. I would like to see more of the sky though...personal taste probably. And, shot like this you should post a bigger one of it here, Greg.

    A very calming image Greg.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Just goes to show that a good image doesn't need to be complicated. Sometimes less is indeed more.

This is somewhat of a departure from your normal style - but you should do more of it. It's a first class picture I think. Simple and very effective.

Thank Mike, I printed up today it turned out nice. You can actually see birds setting atop the trees on the right.

Nice shot At a quick glance it looks like a giant storm on the bay. I agree with Armando about the titling. the sticks do help to offset the reeds (?) on the left.

    Re: Four Sticks

Greg, I want to see less of the sky. I would cut 2/3s of it off, even at the expense of losing the moon.

    Re: Four Sticks

Thanks again all, I see and will correct the tilt. GB I'll crop it and see. I can always move the moon.
