    Fossils?

    Of course, not really...heh.
I liked the look of the twigs and stones here, and they reminded me of the general look of fossils.

Aagh so you work for the Company?, its a satellite picture of the Telaban's HQ, or is it the after effect of the Scorched earth policy? LOL

I like the tones and how the cracks make this look like rivers from high up.

However I do feel its a little bland if that makes sense.

I like the colors and comp too. Maybe an ice cube set down and snapped really fast? Or a glass of water? Something else to contrast against the baked dirt.

Pretty cool shot there, emily. Really like the muted colors and the appearance of this being a landscape like roger suggested.

D, I was sitting here thinking how cool it would be, your ice cube idea, and then it registered that I took this yesterday...and it is fricking freezing here...lol! This was some mud that had dried a bit, but I think the color of it really lends itself to the viewer thinking it's a hot environment. Thanks for your suggestions though!
Srobb, thanks for your thoughts on this as well.
