    Fortune Cookie

    Was bored at home so I started messing with some lighting. Took this with my p&s and also snapped one with my rebel t2, which btw i cant wait to see the results after film gets developed, used black n white film btw. enjoi

    I think you got it quite well.The shallow dof making the letters sharp on the ends and a bit fuzzy in the middle only tease my eyes. Good job.

    It is a creative idea, but not sure the implementation is right. As Frog noted, could use a little more DOF to get all the text in focus. I would also prefer the reverse lighting situation, where the text area was lit and the side areas were not. I do like the background how the cookie is just barely noticeable.

    I like the idea, but it would be hard to tell that it's a fortune cookie without the title saying so. I'd like to see a little more cookie (both in the shot and in life ). It also looks a little gray to me.

    Yes,Very creative.This has endless possibilites..........
    I noticed that background right away.You got the right idea,just experiment.I think GB1's ideas are solid advice.Go with this.

    thanx for the crititque guys...and DOF? haha i know its a focusing term but i need to work on my lighting as well.
