    Yogestee - Hmm... not sure on this one. Seems like the light could be slightly more difused. I somehow feel that the background behind the plate might have benefited from a darker color. And, not sure about the plate being clipped on the sides (but that's more of an artistic comment rather than for the context you are using it with).

    photographing food is very very tough. There are tons of tricks to getting a good shot. I don't have a lot of experience with it myself but I assisted a guy who did one time. They would put all kinds of things on the food (most of it not edible) to make it look moist and inviting (might try basting w/olive oil perhaps before the shot?). The stray bits of green onion on the plate are distracting too I think. The sauce work at the middle base of the food is a bit messy and uninviting.

    Sorry, I'm not trying to be too critical. You're doing something I avoid like the plague because of how difficult it is. There are people called "food stylist" if you can believe that who do nothing but prep food for food shots. That's how specialized this is. If you know someone who does this kind of photography a lot you might pick their brain for some good ideas.

    oh - also agree with the comments about clipping the sides of the plate.
