    Hello Yoyo,

While the perspective effect generated by the lense is quite obvious I like the shot as it is. Your composition is much pleasing and render that interesting building very well.

Have you worked the levels? It seems to me that there is some pure black (the guy suit for instance) and a lot of pure (or nearly pure white) all arround. Actually, I feel that I am missing textures and fine details of the building. Actually, it looks like the sun light was very strong outside and that the lighting difference from the glass wall to inside was too much to deal with for the sensor.

    regards

This is an interesting scene your eye has captured Yoyo. Technically the image is very good (as your images always are). Even so, I'm not sure what to think of this one. Is it about the escalators and rounded shape of the atrium, or is it about the people standing in the center? My reason for asking is that, this is the question my eyes give me. They tend to scan up and down between the two rather than seeing the scene as a whole...

Don't know if that makes sense, but it's what I come up with here. It may be because the bystanders and escalator are in the same vertical "quadrant" of the frame and so kind of compete for the eye's attention, but I'm not sure. There are things about the shot that I really like a lot, too....

I've just seen so many great shots from your collection that I tend to hold your images to a higher standard. Hope that doesn't sound unfair, but knowing what you're capable of my eye tends to be more critical. I certainly wish I had your talent, regardless.

    Hey again Yoyo,

I agree with PuckJunkey comment. He just put into words thoughts that werent perfectly clear in my mind when I first saw your picture.

To be more specific, I'd say that if the 6 "main" peoples in the foreground weren't there, the viewer attention would be naturally drawn to the architecture of the building itself without any kind of conflict.

I still feel that the picture is very well framed though. A slightly different timing (people being located at a different place) would do the trick.

    regards

    Seb

I think I had the same thought, because when I looked at it I mentally removed the people. I imagined what it might look like with one lone person in the middle of it all, and I think I would like that.

    Where is this building?
