Good image, I prefer the colored version. what makes it are the clouds, and good positioning of the ball againtst the sky in the frame. Good creativity.

I agree about the color. The clouds frame the ball nicely, and it's perfect how the ball is in the negative sky space, not over the clouds.

    Great shot,

I prefer the colored image as well. It's interesting to see this ball up against the sky and clouds and nothing else. Beautiful sky by the way. How'd you go about getting this image anyway? This idea never would've occurred to me and I think I might've had trouble catching something like this.

Great capture! To me this speaks volumes. In my warped mind, I prefer the color version as it seems to still be in motion. Whereas the b&w seemed to freeze the motion. If that makes any sense. Just my thoughts.

Good idea! I like the stripped down nature of the shot and the whole scene is well exposed. I widely prefer the color version over the b&w. Not that there is something wrong with your b&w conversion but it just doesn't seem to suit the scene.

Simple and effective. Nice job. (I also prefer the color one...)

The position of the ball is great.

I agree with most of the other that the color version is best. I like the whole concept of the image, but I am very interested in what it would look like if you had hit it with a little flash and taken out some of the shadow on the ball.

    Nice timing and catch.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
