Being a fly-fishing guide here in California I can really relate to this. I haven't seen any of your other photos for this project yet but I am looking forward to seeing them. In this photo I'm going to critique it as a fly-guy. I love the photo but I wish I could see where the end of the fly line is. It looks like he is at the end of his drift from body angle and tightness of the fly line. Drifting it at the eddy of that slack water wheret the two depths meet. Whats lacking for me is I want to see what he is seeing ,but I cant from that angle. If you were 10 feet to your right where his profile was still visible and you can still see the end of the line would really make the shot for me. But the again I have been sitting here stareing at it for the last 5 minutes, so it has caught my attention for sure.
EXCELLENT project. I fly fish 4 days a week so I can really appreciate this.
