    Flowers

    Was Reading The Orton Effect Thread And Used Some Of The Steps But Never Blured The 3rd Layer. I Dont Know If I Like The 1st Pic With Half The Flower Cut Out But I Figured Id Post It Anyway

    Yes, the half flower just doesn't look right to me-it is like you aimed the camera wrong.

    I agree with the above.

    The second photo is nice but the background flower top right of your subject needed to be fixed before the shot. I started removing dead leaves, dusting, rearranging plants even in the wild just to improve the shot.

    Thanks for sharing this effect. You got me looking and trying it out. I created an Orton thread in Viewfinder....maybe you'll post there to share some more stuff.

    thanks for the comments guys i had a feeling youd agree with me on the look but i posted it anyway i just love the clarity and the colors but i guess that half flower ruined it lol manacsa i see what you talking about next time i head out to the garden ill pick out the dead leaves and stems.

    i assume the water is natural.. but a quick spray is a sneaky way of doing it.. i like the second one thow..
