Here is another macro shot I did this morning ...

I think this is pretty good. I like the color and softness. There look almost like a motion blur here as if the flow is coming out of the flower, which is pretty interesting.
My only suggestion really would be crop up from the bottom to eliminate the green area, and if you wanted to maintain the same aspect ration/crop you could also crop a bit off the left.

I'd have to agree that I like the overall softness of it, but the lack of a sharp point bugs me.

Ohh... neat, but needs more DOF. There has to be something for the eye to grab ahold of.
