    Flowering Sativa

    I cannot reveal the location of where this shot was taken.. but I have never seen such in interesting looking flower node before.

    Shooting with an Olympus Evolt E-510 and loving it

    Lighting is kinda harsh. But maybe you weren't at your intellectual best when you took this. Maybe you should make a return trip for more practice?

    I call it reefer. But I'm kinda old and I think that word is funny.

    Yeah it was direct sunlight with no where to hide. But where else would you want it growing?

    I had the only darkened filter I own on the lens at the time (just my polorizer) but full sun is hard to deal with. I kept increasing the shutter speed to get less exposure and this was the best end result. The first few were straight washouts. Settings were:

    ISO 100
    Exposure 1/225 of a second f 3.5
    WB: sunlight

    I just loved the way the flower looks as it is developing. And for the record.. I got intellectually challanged after the shoot.

    Fortunately for me I had very dark sunglasses on when not shooting with the amount of sunlight there you could grow anything
