    Flower pictures! Lots of them!

Ok, so I decided to take a lot of flower pictures today to get that page on my website looking more colorful. Anyway, let me know how you like them. I like some more than others...

Ok, that should give everyone something to work with. Let me know what you like/dont like about each pic!

I like the second and the fourth one...The second one immediately made me think 70's, don't know why , and the fourth is just really vibrant and interesting, good BG.

    Wow,

I don't have time to critique these individually, but I will comment on some of them. I think some of them need some more saturation, as they look a little under exposed or taken in the shade. There's some good shots in there, but some of them borderline cliche/average.

Yes I have to agree with Jared they need the gama or curves adjusted so they pop. Some also look soft, they must be sharp with good contrast.

All of these actually show the most accurate color, some of the flowers in reality just arent that bright. I agree with the soft/out of focus comment. The problem I had was just that. I was getting very close to the flowers and zooming in all the way (80mm), so, some parts are very sharp and other parts that are either closer or farther away are not. How can I get around that? Here is another from today.

By stopping down to s smaller aperture, and using a longer shutter speed.
Then you've probably got to use a tripod, and any wind will make the image blurred through movement.
