Very nice!!! I would burn down the brightness on that petal on the upper right (the one that's behind your main flower focus). I really like the square crop on this. Thanks for sharing this one with us!

I have a problem with this picture in that I think the composition needs some work. I can't in my head figure out the relationship between all the flowers in the picture. Are they all the same flower, in which case your to close, if not then you need to separate the main flower from the others.
Just my opinion of course.
I do like the textures you captured in the buds, but the stamens are a little blown.

Hmm. I think that, in general, the shot seems a tad bit too dark. The background green is great. The main flower is OK, but slightly dieing and too dim on this monitor. The composition is slightly disorganized the way the background flowers intersect the main one. Probably a 5/10 (which is a lot better than the flower shots I shoot ).
