This looks like a fun image, I am glad you have the shadow below the swimmer. Perhaps the contrast is a little to high but other than that I think it is a great composition and capture.
Tuna - It has an interesting feel to it. It could be used in an ad that 3/4ths of the Earth is covered with water. I'm not sure about the contrast though -- seems very on the edge. But that can make someone look twice.....

The more I look at this Tuna the more I think the shadow might have been created by you. I don't understand why the water over the shadow is not dappled or disturbed as elsewhere in the pool.
Having said that I do feel it being there is good but the image is so strong anyway it would survive without the shadow.
I really want to be wrong here and I am happy if you say "Overbeyond; don't be such a pain in the arse" if the shadow is totally natural.
I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
I really like the reflections caused by the water and the ripples giving a hint of slow movement by the person and others unseen.

I don't know if it's just me but.... am I the only one who kind of wishes there was color to this picture?

I suppose I asked for that with my recent manipulations - but I try to keep those works on the overtly obvious side so that it is the effect that is the statement rather than the initial image content.
Here, the shadow is natural - not added.
Seifen - in "Pool", color was necessary - here I found it not to be necessary as it took away from the graphical nature of what we see.
