    Flights and smolder

    My first pictures posted up here... be as kind is as warranted.

    And sorry for the cloud cliche, but I do a lot of flying and get bored.

    Nice shots!

    I love the cloud one, that texture is just amazing. The sun is a tad hot, maybe try burning it a little. The second one is a great idea, the DOF is just amazing, but the bottom of the lamp stand (?) is annoying on the right. Other than that,

    I agree. The candle shot is awesome! The highlights on the upper lips to the the translucent light glowing through... it's just appealing.

    Depth of field. The more things considered to be in focus would be considered a high DOF, something with one area of a shot in focus would be a small DOF.

    I really like the second one... i agree witht he DOF... I don't know if the lamp bothers me or if I would prefer it a little bit more out of focus, because it does create a little more interesting background.
