I vote interesting!! I really like how he's positioned in flight. I might try different crops to see what he looks like in varying degrees with relation to the negative space. But this is totally up my alley! I love how the clouds vary in tones and that he seems to be flying up into the light to escape the ensuing storm.
It's more than interesting. I think it's great. I like the simplicity of it. The cloud's tones are good, the bird's feathers are at a perfect angle. It's a nice shot IMO.

D - I know what you mean about a crop but when I tried to cut this one up I just couldn't find a good place to do it. I see part of a giant's face and eye in the clouds and every time I trim it he disappears so I figured better to keep it whole.
Liban - Thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to respond. It is appreciated!
not sure if you have the resolution in the image, but have you tried cropping it so that the bird is in the bottom right corner, with all the negative space infront of him? might give that feeling of motion and direction or a feeling of where he is going to. just a thought.
nice shot though, quite interesting!

Thanks Kam,
For that one I don't think I do have enough pixels to pull it off but another from the same moment when he was just wheeling over my head.
CL - It's very simple, but the angle of the bird and the white cloudy spot right where he's flying makes it quite interesting. This is almost like a shot that you'd see in a University textbook on flight or, more specifically, the flight of birds. Good catch - shots like this are harder than they seem!
