This was a shot taken after a rain storm. I was trying to experimentwith color and backlighting. Any observations and/or problems? Thanks--Dave

wow, pretty intense color there (!) I enjoy the colors and overall composition but I think it might have worked better if there was only the lower foreground flower pedal in the shot. I think that the others tend to distract/clutter. I really like the upper part of the photo btw - the blur of the greenery back there is perfect.

I'm wishing for more DOF; all the flower petals on the bottom would look better focused.

Yeah your right GB, if I could do the composition over again I would take to rest of them out to make it simpler. That was just how the scene was and I didn't want to move anything around. I'm learning as time goes on.

MB1 I thanks for the comment but I did that on purpose to draw the eye to the stem.
