    Fleurs Hiver

    These are flowers from a plant growing in my garage for the winter. Croped & Not & with filter.
    Critique is welcome as always

    I'll throw in my 2 cents worth for ya. I like the contrast between the bright colors of the flowers and the snow and dead plant outside the window. The first shot seems a little soft to me. I also find the one green stem, or whatever you want to call it, leading out of the frame to the top left to be distracting. My favorite is the 2nd image because it it much sharper than the first and I like the composition better, but again, it has that green stem sticking out. As for the filtered image... I like the the filter changed the plant, but I don't like what it did to the snow. The filtered plant reminds me of something I would see on an old vinyl tablecloth at grandmas house.

    Nice analogy My favourite is the second shot, but the background is a tad distracting. Great shots though and keep on shooting,

    I like the third one the best - the filter treatment presented a strong graphic image with an interesting and unusual effect. The other two are interesting, but the back ground is a bit distracting, the color and sharpness of the second one is very good.

    Thanks again for your kind words , This is my first real close up picture . These flowers are actualy about well less than a quarter inch in size , the whole bunch were not a inch in size hehe . But now i have to get myself a tripod

    I like the bottom pic a lot. This is to me one of the better digital conversions I've seen.
