    Flame Thrower Man Sends a Valentine. . .

    The VERY last of my fire dancer images, these I thought were just interesting freaks of the flame thrower. Please let me know your thoughts. . .

    these are neat, did they mean to make the fire shaped like a heart, or did you capture it at the right time? i think the top one is a bit over exposed, but i have never shot anything like this, so who knows? if you under exposed it just a bit, then perhaps you would keep some detail in the fire. thats what im thinking. i really like the bottom one. i can see so many images in the flames. nice work.

    Yeah, sort of looks like a heart. I like the bottom Lion's Head best. It looks like a lion who's charging out to lick someone silly

    I agree the "Flame Thrower Man" is over exposed and while it would have ben nice to have more detail in the flames and on his face there is still a graphic quality to it that I like, almost cartoonish. Very difficult to estimate settings with a flame thrower you know. It bursts and diminishes so quickly that the majority of the images come out over or under. Still I liked the heart shape and thought the scene justified the title. The fireball is also a flame thrower burst exposed properly and turned on it's side; my favorite of the two too.
