    Fishing Morro Bay

The horizon looks tilted.I'm confused. Is this due to the Ultra Wide (6mm) angle? How about a double barrel blast... Shoot this one up! I can take it...really...seriously. I'm here to learn. Thanks

    Rick

    Re: Fishing Morro Bay

The colors are stunning. The contrasting red pants on the blue water and sky makes this a VERY good picture. I believe the "crooked" look is a shoreline coming towards you and the angle that the factory is at on the other side of the water. I don't think your horizon looks tilted at all. I love how the smoke stacks of the factory are reflected in the water in the middle of the lake!

I keep wrestling with cropping off a little bit of the bottom, but when I see it in my head, I actually prefer the way it's cropped now. It has a nice open feel to it without being TOO open.
Please feel free to edit any of my photos I post as an addition to your critique. I will specifically ask if I do not want a photo altered on a per photo basis. Thank you for your input in advance.

Hey Rick, looks like the opposite shoreline is heading away from you..not much you can do. I would layer the shore and lower the levels down..then maybe hue/saturate the sand and try to get a hint of brown into it. Nice shot.
Please ask to edit photos and I'll do the same!
    Thx, Rod

I think you should crop about half of the ground out. I agree with Rod it appears to be tilted. But I like how everything seems to fall in place and it is exposed well. Nice work. Have you ever posted in Capture a Stranger in VF?
