A Fishing Expedition: Moment Of Impact

I live near a lake and caught a white crane hunting.

The good things about this image: the light and the color.

    Excellent.

Would be even better if you were able to eliminate the (plant, tree?) reflections on the lower left.

    Really nice, though!

    Dray/Aging:

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave comments. Means a lot coming from you guys. The light is that special color that comes from dawn. And..., I thought the inclusion of the tree/plants helped the image. I have not cloned it out to see what that would look like, but I assume the entire "field" of the image would then be white reducing the dimension/perspective of the shot. Hmm. I will give that some thought.

    Thanks again.

Crazy image. The head being below the water makes it deceiving; the back wing's reflection looks like the head. I would like it more if the plant wasn't there but I think taking it out may be a lot of trouble. Great colors, freezing of the subject, and being at the right place at the right time!

Coastal, very awesome shot. There is one thing that bothers me about it though, hes decapitated, I really want to see his head in this shot. I don't have any other nitpicks/
